Denmark’s oldest and biggest health care provider, Falck, has come to India. Falck's activities extend to four business areas: Emergency, Training, Assistance and Healthcare. In India, its local partner is V4 Security Service Pvt. Ltd, an unlisted company headed by Vipin K Khanna.

Falck, which operates in 35 countries worldwide, is  the world’s second largest ambulance operators and the largest disaster management company - and V4 Security services will provide professional ambulance services, roadside assistance, travel, health and safety. Talking to Business Standard, Khanna said he hoped to make ambulatory health assistance quicker and more comprehensive. “All doctors say that in the case of a road accident, for instance, the Golden Hour represents the difference between life and death. We will help provide state of the art healthcare to Indians. Not just through an efficient system of ambulances, but also hope to expand to disaster management," he said.

“By the time we are up and running, hopefully Indians won’t have to brought down from burning hospital wards in chairs tied to ropes” Khanna quipped, referring to the recent fire in a Kolkata hospital.
