Xerox India names Mark Pettit as executive director of XGS

Xerox India announced the appointment of Mark Pettit as the executive director for Xerox Global Services (XGS), the consulting and outsourcing division of Xerox in India, with immediate effect.

XGS provides consulting and technology services in the client communication and document management space to help companies drive more effective client communication cut costs and accelerate ROI growth.

In his new role, Pettit will be spearhead XGS business in India and South Asia. He will be responsible for managing a team of consultants and document management experts to solve critical business challenges across a broad portfolio of services including document outsourcing, client communications services, consulting, systems integration, imaging and content management.

 

Pettit is a Xerox veteran and has been with Xerox for over 20 years in various roles and capacities. He brings in industry experience and understanding of Xerox’s business.

Prior to this, Pettit was vice president, marketing, strategy and offerings, for developing markets and was responsible for managing the strategic development for the XGS business. He has led several important engineering assignments for globally renowned companies including British Rail.

Andrew Horne, managing director, Xerox India said: “Mark’s valuable experience in leading large bids and a proven track record of delivering triple digit growth puts him in a great position to lead and grow the XGS business.”

XGS helps companies streamline document-related processes from accessing critical information, to making the most of their IT assets, to managing their communication and print outputs through to imaging and processing inbound client communications.

It employs more than 14,000 consultants and delivery experts worldwide with industry-specific experience. Recognised for cost-effectively improving IP protection, XGS also holds the distinction for having 8,400 active patents.
