Yes Bank signs 5-year sponsorship deal with IPL

Citi was the official on-ground sponsor of the IPL till season 5, but it did not renew its deal for the current season

YES Bank has signed a five-year contract with the Indian Premier League (IPL) as an official partner and on-ground sponsor.

In the financial services category, Citi was the official on-ground sponsor of the IPL till IPL season 5. But, it did not renew its deal for this season.

For the sixth season, IPL has got only Pepsi (title sponsor) and Vodafone (associate sponsor) so far as sponsors. While Pepsi had won the title sponsorship for the next five years, Vodafone had renewed its association with IPL last year.

We are confident that YES BANK’s association with IPL for 5 years will facilitate our brand recognition, and further propel our pan India Retail Banking franchise. Rajeev Shukla, chairman, IPL added, "Pepsi IPL welcomes YES BANK on board. Our relationship will only get stronger in the weeks and months to come, and we shall together ensure that we deliver a stupendous tournament."

The IPL season 6 will be played from April 3 to May 26 involving a total of 76 matches to be played over a period of seven weeks.
