Zee Q3 consolidated net drops 64%

Zee Telefilms today reported a 64% decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 31.03 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 when compared with Rs 86.55 crore in Q3FY05.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 403.06 crore in Q3FY06 from Rs 339.81 crore in Q3FY05.

The company, on a stand-alone basis, has posted a net profit of Rs 31.70 crore in Q3FY06 as against Rs 38.42 crore in Q3FY05. Total income increased to Rs 240.16 crore in Q3FY06 from Rs 179.10 crore in Q3FY05.
