Zensar bags new deals worth Rs 190 cr in applications business

After the new broke out, the company's stock on BSE rose 3.5% to Rs 655

IT services and solutions firm Zensar Technologies, today announced that it has signed significant new business worth Rs 190 crore in its Application Management Services business. The company, which made this announcement during market hours, saw its go up by 3.5 per cent at Rs 655 per share.

Nitin Parab, Chief Executive, Enterprise Applications business, Zensar Technologies said, “Zensar’s applications business has shown significant traction in all key markets across US, Africa and Europe. This new business includes new logos as well as renewal of significant engagements with existing clients in key markets and verticals. The renewal deals are even more rewarding as a reiteration of the customer’s faith in Zensar.”
 

“Both the custom and package applications business have been doing well. Oracle EBS and Custom Application Management Services have both been instrumental in new logo additions”, he added.

The company is also investing in DevOps and an Integrated Support Platform to enable the large deals involving multi tower services across Application Management Services, Infrastructure Management and Package Applications.

In December last year, the company had announced that is has signed deals worth $12 million in the infrastructure management business. Of the three deals, one is a three-year managed services deal for security worth $ 8 million.

The other two—a remote infrastructure management (IM) services deal towards end user experience and the other a managed Services deal including monitoring and support for storage and backup and network—are in the range $2 million to $3 million each.
