Zensar Tech to offer pharma services

Zensar Technologies, the IT firm of the RPG Enterprises, is venturing into pharma and healthcare solutions sector in partnership with the US-based Impact Inc following a similar attempt by the software services giant TCS.
 
Zensar is in the process of signing up few major service outsourcing contracts with global healthcare companies.
 
The company would focus on solutions in the areas of regulatory compliances, enterprise solutions and technology advisory services.
 
Zensar deputy chairman and managing director Ganesh Natrajan said; "The new venture is part of a strategy to structure its integrated capabilities to meet the growing demands from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors."
 
The company has already appointed its associate vice president (SAP Business) Giridhar Rao as head of the pharma practices arm.
 
Zensar has also constituted an advisory board comprises of Pradipto Mohapatra, CEO, RPG Life Sciences, Pramod Lele, CEO, Hinduja Hospitals, Laura Sherman, vice president, and John Nidelcheff , president, Impact Inc., and few senior executives of Zensar Technologies, to enhance the offerings to the pharma industry.
 
For the new technology initiative in the pharmaceutical services, Zensar has already signed up with few leading pharmaceutical companies including Ranbaxy Laboratories, Associate Capsules, Paras Pharma, Indian Immunologicals in India.
