Anti-corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday challenged Congress General-Secretary Digvijay Singh to persuade Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to answer questions put by India Against Corruption .
“We had put some questions to Mr Robert Vadra and the prime minister. Let them answer first. Then, we will answer all questions from Mr Digvijay,’’ he said.
He also asked if the PM or Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi would come for a public debate. “I request Mr Digvijay to encourage Mrs Gandhi, the PM or Mr Rahul Gandhi to come for a public debate. It could be a place and time of their choice. Let’s question each other and let the public question us on personal and public issues. Is Digvijay ready?’’ he asked.
“If Digvijay can’t convince his party bosses or the Prime Minister, then people would think he is doing all this for cheap publicity and to divert attention.’’ he said.
