Less than four out of 10 Indians feel ‘very comfortable’ about a woman heading their government or a major company, according to findings by research consultancy KANTAR. Further, women in India and globally, are more accepting of women holding leadership positions, compared to men.

This is the first year India is part of KANTAR’s annual global exercise to rate countries on the extent to which men and women are viewed equally in terms of suitability for positions of leadership across all sectors.
