The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) is set to launch its heaviest commercial mission that will put five British satellites on board PSLV-C28. The launch, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota, will take place at 9:58 pm on Friday.

1. The mission will put five British satellites, together weighing 1,440 kg, on PSLV-C28.
2. These satellite have been built by Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd, a Britain-based firm
3. This is the heaviest mission for Isro and its commercial unit, Antrix
4. For the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), this is going to be the 30th mission
5. Apart from the 5 British satellites, three similar DMC3 optical satellites will also be launched
