In memory of the former President APJ Abdul Kalam, the Assam government has decided to set up an 'APJ Abdul Kalam Centre for Innovation' soon in the state. Making the announcement here today, chief minister Tarun Gogoi said the Centre would come up soon and would help engage the young minds of the state and Northeast as a whole in entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity.
"The proposed Centre named after the great scientist, super human being and a teacher par excellence would help to ignite the young minds towards entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity, thus helping to transform the lives of the common man and bringing smiles on their faces," he added.
