Barcelona striker Luis Suarez on Saturday won the La Liga footballer of the month award for May after the Uruguayan's 14 goals in the last five consecutive victories in the Spanish league helped his side retain the title.
The Uruguayan scored 14 goals in the last five La Liga games to top the league scorers with 40 goals, reports EFE.
Suarez also scored a hat-trick in his side's 3-0 victory over Granada in the final La Liga game, when Barcelona clinched their 24th La Liga title.
