Himachal Pradesh's remotest but of scenic areas, Lahaul and Spiti will have more adventure and winter sports like trekking, river-rafting, skiing and mountaineering, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said in the Assembly on Tuesday, in reply to a question by MLA Ravi Thakur.
"Several areas have been identified to promote these activities. River rafting will be conducted in areas between Darcha and Jispa and in the Tabo monastery region. Areas along the Bhaga and Spiti will also be explored," the chief minister said.
