NDA ally Janata Dal (United) on Monday dismissed Yashwant Sinha’s demand for declaring Narendra Modi as the PM candidate as his “personal” view. The JD(U) said it would wait for BJP’s “official stand” as its leader Nitish Kumar had already conveyed JD(U)’s views on NDA prime ministerial candidate. “He (Nitish Kumar) has also spoken clearly about what kind of a person should be the prime ministerial candidate. The ball is in BJP’s court,” spokesperson Shivanand Tiwari told reporters.
