A pod with a cosy bed, a television set, a small locker, an adjustable air conditioner, air filter vents and more. For weary travellers, these are the cool, new, futuristic retiring rooms now available at the Mumbai Central railway station.
Developed by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), these were inaugurated by Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve on Wednesday.
The sleep pods also come with reading lights, interior light, mobile charging, smoke detectors, do-not-disturb indicators and, of course, a mirror. And, each pod room will provide free Wi-Fi, luggage room, toiletries, shower rooms as well as washrooms in
