A senior official of the Gujarat BJP Minority Morcha has claimed that "communal riots and terrorist activities" in the state had "come down drastically" during the Narendra Modi administration, compared to earlier Congress and Janata regimes. "Communal riots and terroristic activities in Gujarat have come down drastically during the Narendra Modi administration compared to the earlier Congress and Janata Dal rule," said Gujarat BJP Minority Morcha president M K Chishty.
Modi's idea of development would not have been possible without peace, which could be maintained only when the state was free from terrorism and riots, he said.
Chishty said that out of the total Muslim population in Gujarat, nine per cent had government jobs and 10.5 per cent were in the police department.
