Jammu & Kashmir sees three deaths due to Covid, 122 new cases
Jammu and Kashmir recorded 122 fresh cases of the coronavirus on Sunday, taking the infection tally to 3,22,550, while three new fatalities due to the disease raised the death toll to 4,389, officials said.
Forty-three of the fresh COVID-19 cases were from the Jammu division and 79 from the Kashmir division of the Union Territory, the officials said.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday alleged that the Pramod Sawant-led BJP government in the state has not chalked out any plan of action so far to prevent the possible third wave of the coronavirus pandemic.
"The state government is not preparing appropriately for the impending third wave. The first week of August has seen almost 100 cases of COVID-19 infection daily, with two per cent positivity rate," AAP's Goa convenor Rahul Mhambre said in a statement.

Goa aims to complete COVID-19 vaccination of all eligible beneficiaries by October 31 this year, state BJP chief Sadanand Shet Tanavade said on Sunday.
Incidentally, an earlier deadline of July 31 to complete administering the first dose to all beneficiaries in the state was missed by the BJP led government here, as some one lakh people are yet to be inoculated.
Nashik sees 99 Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths, 102 recoveries
The COVID-19 tally in Nashik reached 4,03,324 on Sunday with the addition of 99 cases, while the day also saw three deaths, which took the toll to 8,533, an official said.
The recovery count of the district is 3,93,715, with 102 people getting discharged during the day, he said.

COVID-19 vaccination certificate can now be obtained via WhatsApp within seconds, the office of Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya informed on Sunday.
Mandaviya's office has said anyone who wants to download the certificate can send a message 'covid certificate' on WhatsApp to a number +91 9013151515 and receive it.
45 PSA oxygen plants commissioned in govt hospitals in Delhi: Health officials to DDMA
Forty-five PSA oxygen plants of 55.46 metric tonnes capacity have been commissioned in government hospitals in the national capital as part of preparations for a possible third wave of COVID-19, health officials have told the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA).
According to the officials, around 160 PSA oxygen generation plants with a total capacity of 148.11 metric tonnes are being installed at various government and private hospitals in the city.
