There should be uniformity while referring to the country, be it 'Bharat', India, or the Republic of India, according to Namah, the petitioner who has approached the Supreme Court seeking a direction to the Centre for the same. The Supreme Court is set to hear the matter on June 2.

"The name of India should be one. There are many names of India like Republic of India, Bharat, India, Bharat Ganarajya, etc. There should not be many names. We don't know what we have to say," Namah told ANI here.
