Covid-19 Factoid: Pain and recovery as cases set to cross 1.5 mn mark

Germany, where 40 per cent of all infected persons are recovering, is doing the best by that metric among the five worst-affected nations

The global tally of coronavirus-infected patients is about to breach the 1.5-million mark, with Europe and the United States continuing to suffer the most. The global death toll is set to cross 90,000. However, nearly 20 per cent, or roughly 3.3 million cases have now recovered for the infection. India’s case tally currently stands at 6,567 and the death toll is nearing the 200 mark.
