India's average doubling rate of new coronavirus cases has slowed to has 9.1 days, said the government on Saturday as it credited a nationwide lockdown for containing the disease.
The country recorded a 6 per cent growth in new cases from Friday 8 am to Saturday 8 am--the slowest uptick in daily new cases since crossing 100 cases, it said.
The 13th meeting of the high-level Group of Ministers (GoM) on Covid-19 was chaired by Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Saturday. The Group of Ministers (GoM) was briefed on state-wise details of dedicated Covid-19 hospitals, along with the adequacy
