Delhi-based IIHMR offers to partner UP in medical waste disposal

Delhi-based International Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) has offered to partner with the Uttar Pradesh government in waste disposal management for government hospitals. IIHMR Dean Prof Ashok K Agarwal said the institute was willing to train government medical professionals and administrators in waste disposal management in the state.

He said India was facing acute shortage of trained hospital and health managers. IIHMR also runs two-year full time post graduate diploma in hospital and health management (PGDHM) with specialisation in hospital, health and health IT management.

He informed the programme was approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
