Visibility levels were very low, taking a toll on the morning traffic.

Meanwhile, 81 trains are running late, 21 have been rescheduled and three cancelled due to poor visibility in Delhi, while eight international flights are delayed, three have been diverted and five domesticRailway officials said that trains running late included Himgiri Express (26 hours), Amarnath Express (20 hours), Purbia Express (18 hours), Kaifiyat Express (19 hours), Avadh-Assam Express, Punjab Mail, Kota-Patna Express, Nauchandi Express, Bihar Sampark Kranti Express, Gareeb Rath, Mau-Anand Vihar Express, Triveni Express and many more.
Due to timetables going haywire and continued fog, the railways cancelled four major trains -- 14258 Kashi-Vishwanath Express between Varanasi and New Delhi, Himgiri Express, Marudhar Express between Jaipur and Lucknow and the 12232 Chandigarh Express.flights have been delayed at the IGI Airport.
In Uttar Pradesh, foggy weather and biting cold have disrupted normal life in most parts of the state since last three days.
Several trains including Sealdah Delhi Sampark Kranti Express, which passes through UP, were cancelled while over two dozen trains were either running late or very late.Road transportation has also been affected in most parts of the state especially in the morning and evening hours.
