Veteran Congress leader and former minister Hari Singh 'Kumher' died today after prolonged illness.

He was 88.

Kumher was a three-time MLA and Dairy and Animal Husbandry minister in Ashok Gehlot government from 1998 to 2003.

The veteran leader was ill for the last few months and died at his residence today in Jaipur. The body has been brought to Bharatpur for funeral, family sources said.

He is survived by wife and three sons.
