The First Year Junior College Merit list, a completely automated online process for admission to standard 11, has been operational since May 18, 2016. About 2.17 lakh aspirants from Mumbai region, who passed class 10th exams from various boards, had registered online to take admission in First Year Junior College (FYJC) in over 700 junior colleges and over 3,000 schools in the Mumbai metropolitan area (MMR).

This year, the state’s education board will declare first, second and third merit list, on June 27, July 04 and July 11, respectively, on FYJC’s official website. Although there is a strong murmur that the board is contemplating a fourth merit list, there has been no official announcement about the same.
