Goods train derails in Assam

Six oil tanker bogies of a goods train derailed between Harengajao and Migrandisa in central Assam's Dima Hasao district today disrupting rail traffic movement.

Northeast Frontier Railway officials said the tankers carrying petroleum products jumped the tracks this morning on the Lumding-Badarpur section. However, none was injured.

The engine of the train was not damaged as the tankers were six bogies behind it, they said.
