Government needs to ensure that education, nutrition and health facilities reach scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said on Tuesday.
He further said that very sharp inequality persists between SC/ST and other castes.
"Sanitation will also play a huge impact on improvement of nutrition," he said.

He emphasised that physical infrastructure is also necessary for providing education, nutrition and health facilities to SC/ST.
