In a minor reshuffle, the Gujarat government on Thursday transferred 11 bureaucrats, including S Aparna, who was appointed as the principal secretary to chief minister.
According to the notification issued by the state General Administration Department (GAD), 1988-batch IAS officer Aparna, who was till now principal secretary with the finance department (economic affairs) has been transferred as principal secretary to the chief minister. She replaces G C Murmu, who was transferred to Delhi. Aparna is replaced by Commissioner of Geology and Mining T Nararajan, who is now appointed as the Secretary in Finance Department (Economic Affairs).
1984-batch IAS officer Arvind Agrawal was transferred and appointed as additional chief secretary, industries and mines department replacing 1985-batch bureaucrat Atanu Chakraborty, who has been transferred to energy and petrochemicals department. Chakraborty has been appointed the managing director of Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited (GSPC), a post which he was initially holding in additional charge.

Sonal Mishra, serving as the secretary (tourism) in industries and mines department, has been transferred and appointed as the MD of Gujarat Industrial Power Company Ltd.
