Shooting for the Gujarat Tourism's campaign involving megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be rescheduled following the actor's inability to visit the state because of health reasons, a senior official said today.

The shooting for 'Khushboo Gujarat Ki' campaign was to start at Champaner-Pavagadh from tomorrow. "We received message from Bachchan in this regard a short while ago and that is why we have decided to reschedule his programme of visits to sites at later stage," a Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd official said.

Earlier, former Union Minister and Congress candidate from Chhota Udepur, Naranbhai Rathwa, had approached Election Commission objecting to shooting of TCGL's campaign involving Bachchan. Rathwa had alleged that Gujarat government was trying to take advantage of the Bollywood actor's celebrity status to influence the voters in the area.
