HC defers hearing on PIL against land deals of Vadra firms

The PIL also seeks a probe into land deals entered into by Skylight Hospitality Pvt ltd and its subsidiaries in Rajasthan

The Delhi High Court today fixed May 15 for hearing a PIL seeking a court-monitored CBI probe into land deals entered into by Robert Vadra firms.
 
A bench comprising Chief Justice G Rohini and Justice R S Endlaw fixed the case for hearing arguments on the maintainability of the plea on May 15 next after petitioner- lawyer M L Sharma sought adjournment saying he did not want Congress or BJP to take political mileage out of judicial proceedings.
 
The petitioner opposes the grant of licenses to change land use of agricultural plots purchased by companies, in which Vadra has stakes in Gurgaon.
 
 
The PIL also seeks a probe into land deals entered into by Skylight Hospitality Pvt ltd and its subsidiaries in Rajasthan.
