	<strong>Live news updates:&nbsp;</strong>Draupadi Murmu, a former Jharkhand governor and tribal leader, will be the BJP-led alliance&rsquo;s candidate in presidential election next month, said: BJP chief J P Nadda on Tuesday.<br />

	Murmu, who belongs to Odisha, will contest against former union minister Yashwant Sinha, who has been named as the opposition candidate for the post.<br />

	Murmu, 64, will be the first tribal woman to be India&rsquo;s president as the BJP-led NDA is certain to win the election on July 18.<br />

		The Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra &mdash; a coalition comprising the Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the Congress &mdash; is on the brink crisis, with at least one-and-a-half dozen Sena MLAs indicating unhappiness with the government and having shifted to a luxury hotel in Gujarat&rsquo;s Surat district, according to MVA sources. The MLAs are led by senior Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra urban development minister, Eknath Shinde, who according to sources, has been disgruntled with the government because he felt sidelined, multiple reports said.&nbsp;</div>
