ISB research associate dies in fall from 9th floor apartment

A research associate working with the Indian School of Business (ISB) here died after he "accidentally" fell from his ninth floor apartment, police said on Monday.

The incident took place on Saturday night in a residential building in Gachibowli area.

The victim, Chaitanya Bayanwala, a native of West Bengal, was alone in his rented flat at the time of the incident, Gachibowli Police Inspector J Ramesh Kumar said.

"There was no suicide note. Initial investigation revealed that he might have fallen from the ninth floor accidentally. The investigation is going on," he said.

According to police, Bayanwala joined ISB, a top management institute, about nine months ago. He was sharing the flat with two others.
