Zimmer Institute, a training centre for surgeons and paramedics, on Friday announced its two-day Joint Replacement State of Art Conference at Kochi. The event commences on Saturday. The goal of the two-day conference is to focus on today's optimal standards of care and to advance the treatment of degenerative knee and hip pathology with the most up-to-date knowledge and science.
The conference will be chaired by Dr Ashok Rajgopal, chairman, Medanta Bone & Joint Institute, Gurgaon, and co-chaired by Dr Suryanarayan, joint director at Asian Joint Reconstructive Institute, SRM Institute of Medical Science, Chennai, with other faculty from across the globe.
With the support of Amrita Institute of Medical Science, there will be a live streaming of surgery procedure for demonstrating a unique knee and hip replacement. The surgeries will be performed by renowned orthopedic surgeons.
