Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today instructed the officials to release Rs 350 crore for purchase of additional power in case of a shortfall in supply.
The chief minister held a review meeting on the power supply situation with the Telangana state transco and TS genco chairman and managing director D Prabhakar Rao and asked him to ensure uninterrupted power supply by procuring additional power from Kayamkulam power plant and other sources from outside the state, according to a release from the chief minister's office.
