Twitter 'inadvertently' restricted Trump's disputed election tweets
Twitter briefly restricted disputed election tweets by Donald Trump and disabled all kind of user engagement with those tweets, later admitting it "inadvertently" limited engagements and reversed the action.
Some users noticed that the ability to like, retweet or reply to Trump tweets with "disputed" labels was not working.
"Copying the URL to one of the disputed tweets also appeared to be disabled, and quote-tweets were not appearing in search results," The Verge reported late on Saturday.
A Twitter spokesperson later said that it "inadvertently took action to limit engagements," on Trump's tweet and has since reversed the action.
Delhi Police rejects AAP's request to hold dharna outside Amit Shah's residence
The Delhi Police has rejected Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha's request for permission to hold a demonstration outside the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
AAP was planning to hold 'dharna' outside Home Minister Shah's house on Sunday against alleged misappropriation of funds by New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC).
"...Any type of gathering is not allowed outside the residence of Hon'ble Home Minister of India. Your request has been considered but rejected. You are requested to co-operate with the Delhi Police," the Delhi Police said in its reply.

"When I heard about the discovery of the site, I had a gut feeling that it might be of the period of Buddha. Later, I came to know that it was about 2,600 years old. Noting the importance of 'swadeshi alternative' against imports from countries like China, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has emphasised on the need of research on the emerging technology like electric vehicles, without compromising the quality and cost of the goods or products.
"You do research on (EV) parts we are making in India and what we are importing. We are importing many EV parts from China. We need to find out a swadeshi alternative to whatever we are importing, without compromising the quality and cost," Gadkari said while addressing the virtual session during FICCI's 93rd Annual General Convention on Saturday.
The Union Minister said that we aim to create employment and aid village and small industries to grow. He also said that the government is taking a step towards recognising and facilitating rural entrepreneurs.

Over 748,000 voters in 31 District Development Council (DDC) constituencies will cast their votes on Sunday in the sixth phase of the first-ever DDC elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
As many as 7,48,301 electors, including 3,90,432 male and 3,57,869 female voters, will decide the fate of 124 candidates in the Kashmir division for 14 seats, and 121 in the Jammu division for 17 seats. 334 Panch and 77 Sarpanch seats will also witness voting across the union territory.
A total of 2,071 polling stations have been designated with 1,208 in the Kashmir division and 863 in the Jammu division, State Election Commissioner (SEC), KK Sharma said.
