12:03 PMCong MPs deliberately disrupted House since question on Rajiv Gandhi Foundation was listed: Amit Shah
Home Minister Amit Shah criticises Congress for disrupting parliament proceedings, says the opposition party deliberately hindered House proceedings because a question related to Rajiv Gandhi Foundation was listed.
"Today, in Lok Sabha, the opposition did not allow the Question Hour to run. I condemn this act. The parliamentary affairs minister clearly said that the defence minister will make a statement on this (Tawang faceoff with China) in the parliament," Shah said.
"I saw the Question Hour list and after seeing question number 5, I understood the anxiety (of Congress). The question was regarding the cancellation of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) licence of Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. If they would have allowed, I would have given an answer in parliament that the foundation received grant of Rs 1.35 crore from the Chinese embassy in 2005-2007, which was not appropriate as per FCRA. So, as per the rules, the home ministry cancelled its registration," the home minister said.

8:56 AMG7 nations establish international climate club to fight global warming
The Group of Seven leading economies have created an open, international climate club for countries that want to cooperate in the fight against global warming, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Monday after a video conference with other G-7 leaders.
Germany holds the presidency of the G-7 until the end of the year and then passes it on to Japan.
Scholz said the new forum group is not intended to be a G-7 initiative; rather, it is to be a global undertaking.
"With the climate club and the socially just transition of our industries toward climate neutrality, we are making an important contribution to achieving global climate targets," the chancellor said.
The climate club aims to support the rapid and ambitious implementation of the Paris Agreement, which seeks to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit), according to the German government.
