The bench, comprising Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud and Justice P S Narasimha, said it would hear the matter on January 16. The court&#39;s reaction came after the petitioner, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, urged the court to hear the matter on Wednesday.&nbsp;</div>

India's fuel demand hits nine-month high in December

	India&#39;s fuel demand reached a nine-month high in December, helped by strong industrial activity and a rise in gasoline consumption due to an uptick in passenger vehicle sales.</div>
