Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of Sonipat, Panipat, Jind, Bhiwani, over the next two hours, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday. The weather department also predicted rains at isolated places of Delhi during the next 2 hours, news agency ANI reported.
"Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of Sonipat, Panipat, Jind, Hissar, Karnal, Rohtak, Baraut, Modinagar, Khatauli, Aurangabad, Sahaswan, and isolated places of Delhi during next 2 hours," the IMD said.

Flood havoc continues in Andhra Pradesh districts; several villages affected
The Godavari river is swelling by the hour, inundating more villages along the course, as it inched towards a record flood level on Monday. As the water level crossed 60 feet at Bhadrachalam in neighbouring Telanagna, the Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage at Dowaleswaram near Rajamahendravaram received 18.27 lakh cusecs by noon on Monday.
Authorities are discharging all the flood water into the Bay of Bengal as the third warning signal is due to be raised. The second warning is now continuing at Dowaleswaram, the State Disaster Management Authority said. Over 55 villages in West Godavari district and about 100 in East Godavari district remain marooned or inundated due to the deluge, according to a PTI report.

With China reluctant to disengage, top Indian political, military leaders to discuss way forward in Ladakh
With China not disengaging in Finger area, Depsang plains and Gogra after multiple rounds of military talks, top Indian political and military leaders are scheduled to meet on Monday to discuss the way forward there.
Chinese troops have been camping in the Finger area for over three months now and have even started fortifying their bases there with construction of bunkers and sangars.
"Top political leadership along with the military leaders are scheduled to discuss the strategy to deal with the ongoing situation in Eastern Ladakh sector where the Chinese had transgressed into multiple locations," government sources told ANI.

Five of family killed in road accident in Gujarat
Five members of a family were killed when their car collided with an SUV near Nadiad town in Gujarat's Kheda district, police said on Monday.
Four other family members and driver of the sports utility vehicle (SUV) were injured in the accident that took place on National Highway No.48 on Sunday night, they said.
The nine family members, hailing from Kalupur area of Ahmedabad, were returning from Anand town after meeting their relatives when the speeding SUV rammed into their car near Pij village on the highway, Vaso police station's inspector F A Pargi said.
