IOCL's Paradip refinery to be shut for 22 days for maintenance work
The oil refinery of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) at Paradip in Odisha's Jagatsinghpur district will remain shut for 22 days from July 25 for maintenance work, a senior official said on Saturday.
Nearly 800 workers from nearby areas will be engaged for carrying out the maintenance activity at the refinery plant, while adhering to Covid-19 safety protocols, Jagatsinghpur District Collector Sangram Keshari Mohapatra said.

FIEO demands stern action against untraceable exporters, offers full support to govt
Exporters body FIEO on Saturday demanded a stern action against 1,377 exporters who had claimed GST tax refunds of Rs 1,875 crore and are untraceable at their principal place of business.
The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) President Sharad Kumar Saraf said that they would offer full support to the government as such activities impact the image of the exporting community.
"We request you to provide the details of 1,377 untraceable exporters to the Ministry of Commerce so as to further verify on the basis of information available. If they are not traceable, theDGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) should initiate action to suspend/cancel their IEC (import export code) making them ineligible for further exports/imports," Saraf said in a letter to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Govt issues notice to Twitter after recent hack targeting global high-profile users
India's cybersecurity nodal agency CERT-In has issued a notice to Twitter asking the micro-blogging platform for full details of the recent global hack targeting high-profile users, as it sought complete information on number of Indian users affected as well as impact on data, a source said.
The source privy to the development told PTI that CERT-In has also asked Twitter for information on number of users from India who have visited the malicious tweets and links, and whether the affected users have been informed by the platform about unauthorised access to their Twitter accounts.
Yuva Sena moves SC for cancellation of final year exams
The Shiv Sena's youth wing Yuva Sena has moved the supreme court seeking cancellation of the final year exams of universities across states in view of the Covid-19 crisis.
Yuva Sena secretary Varun Sardesai told PTI the petition filed by him was admitted on Saturday.
The Yuva Sena has demanded all states be given the right to take an appropriate decision based on the prevailing situation in their respective areas.
