Kerala industries minister PK Kunhalikkutty will formally launch the first technology incubation centre promoted by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) here on November 13.
KSIDC has embarked upon establishing technology/business incubators at various locations in the state. The first centre is ready for launching at Kinfra Park, here.
The facility is coming up in 5,000-sft area in Geon Air building.

Already eight start-up ventures have been selected and granted space in the incubation centre. The selected startups are from various domains like software/mobile application development, interactive game development, e-commerce activity, wireless charging technology, CSR management activity, virtual classroom for teaching practices and enterprise software product development.
Companies including Datafactors Software, Tutti Frutti Interactive,3Q mentors and Grabmy Grocery are now setting up the start-up ventures.
KSIDC also plans to open business incubation centres at INKEL Complex, Angamaly, near here, and at the Industrial Growth Centre, Kozhikode, shortly. Both the incubators will be multi-product business incubators, a press statement said.
