The lessons learnt from the Dec 16, 2012 gang rape would be shared with all officers, said Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi Tuesday.

"...whatever lessons we have learnt from this case will be disseminated among all our officers, so that if there is any such case (in the future), the investigation is first rate," Bassi told reporters here, before the pronouncement of the verdict in the case.

The verdict against the four accused in gang rape is scheduled to be pronounced Tuesday.

"All efforts were made in this investigation so that it takes place on scientific lines. All the possible evidence was collected, logically arranged and produced before the court so that the accused can be proven guilty," he said.

On Dec 16, 2012 a 23-year-old paramedical student was gang raped in a moving bus by five men, among whom one was juvenile. On Aug 31, the juvenile was sent to a reform home for three years. The other four accused are charged with gang rape, murder, attempt to murder, unnatural offences and destruction of evidence and dacoity.
