Facebook has become an integral part of our lives. Within 11 years of its launch, the social media giant has not just made the world look smaller by helping its users meet old and new friends, it has also become a political tool by acting as a catalyst to many political revolutions in recent years.
Facebook connects more people than any other company ever has. So, have you ever imagined how do people behind the world’s biggest social network work? How does their office look like? How do they work with each other at the workspace to generate such life changing ideas? How would it be for a common man to see Facebook’s office?
Well to answer all those questions, Mark Zuckerberg, Founder & CEO of Facebook used the live streaming video feature and took millions of users to show his office and to give a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the company's new headquarters. Facebook moved into the Frank Gehry-designed office space in California, earlier this year.
Facebook’s office is amazingly wide and spacious. Desktops are placed without any cabins or cubicles. The idea behind the unique work space has been to facilitate better people to people interaction and free flow of ideas, Zuckerberg said. The CEO himself does not have a separate cabin, too. Zuckerberg’s desk is placed like any other employee’s. To know more about Facebook's headquarter watch the video below.
