Video shows BJP legislator asking party workers to attack TMC rivals
A BJP legislator in West Bengal on Saturday was purportedly seen in a video telling workers of his party to injure leaders of Trinamool Congress if they attack them or slap false charges against them. "If a (TMC) leader seeks to frame our workers in false cases, if our workers are terrorised, that leader may not return safely. Enough is enough. Break his hands and legs in self-defence and come to me. I promise to be on your side," Swapan Majumder was heard telling his supporters at a party meeting in the video, according to PTI.

COP26 president hoped for original phrase on coal
The British president of the COP26 climate summit, Alok Sharma, on Saturday said he wished he had been able to preserve the originally agreed language on phasing out coal power in the Glasgow climate deal. Fire at Indonesia refinery put out
A fire at Pertamina's refinery complex in Cilacap, central Java, was under control and being gradually extinguished, the Indonesian energy company said early on Sunday. The fire started around 1220 GMT on Saturday at a fuel storage unit, and amateur videos broadcast by local media showed a large blaze colouring the sky orange, Reueters reported.

Amravati under curfew after stone pelting
Internet in Amravati will be suspended for three days to prevent the spread of rumours and a curfew will last for four days, said the city's police chief on Saturday. Assam Rifles Colonel, 6 others killed in ambush
A Colonel of the paramilitary Assam Rifles, his wife and eight-year-old son, and four soldiers were killed in an ambush by terrorists near the border with Myanmar in Manipur on Saturday. The terror attack took place at 11 am in Manipur's Churachandpur district. Colonel Viplav Tripathi, the Commanding Officer of 46 Assam Rifles, was returning from a forward camp when his convoy was attacked.
