Gold price today at Rs 47,850 per 10 gram; silver selling at Rs 60,700 a kg

The price of 10 gram of gold increased by Rs 10 on Saturday, with 24-carat of it trading at Rs 47,850 and 22-carat at Rs 46,850.

 

The price of 1 kg of silver decreased by Rs 900, trading at Rs 60,700 this morning.

 

In Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold stands at Rs 51,400, while in Mumbai it is at Rs 47,850, according to the Goodreturns website.

 

The price of 10 gram of 22-carat gold in Delhi and Mumbai is at Rs 47,110 and Rs 46,850, respectively. Read on...

Health ministry should assess need for booster shots: Parliament panel

In view of the threat posed by the new Omicron variant of Covid-19, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs has recommended that the Health Ministry in coordination with the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI) and National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for Covid-19 (NEGVAC) should assess the need for booster doses in India.

 

This recommendation was made in the 236th report on "Action Taken by Government on the Recommendations/ Observations contained in the 229th reeport on the "Management of Covid-19 Pandemic and Related Issues" laid down by the Committee headed by Rajya Sabha MP Anand Sharma in parliament on Friday.
