Russian FM Lavrov to arrive in India today on a two-day trip
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will arrive in India on Thursday on a two-day official visit. The Russian FM will hold official engagements on Friday.
Lavrov's trip to India comes at the same time when UK State Secretary Liz Truss and US deputy NSA advisor Daleep Singh are scheduled to visit New Delhi.

Petrol, diesel costlier by 80 paise again; total hike in 10 days now at Rs 6.40
The rates of petrol and diesel in Delhi increased by 80 paise a litre, while in Mumbai, fuel became costlier by 84 paise. This is the ninth increase in fuel rates in 10 days, the total hike now amounts to Rs 6.40.
Petrol is now selling at Rs 101.81 per litre in Delhi and diesel is trading at Rs 93.07 per litre. In Mumbai, petrol and diesel are selling at Rs 116.72 and Rs 100.94 a litre respectively. Read more

Axis Bank acquires Citi's India consumer business
US bank Citigroup on Wednesday announced the sale of its Indian consumer banking businesses to private lender Axis Bank for Rs 12,325 crore, as part of its plans to exit retail operations in 13 markets.
