UP CM's Twitter handle restored after hacking
The official Twitter handle of the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister's Office was hacked briefly on Saturday said a senior government officer. A case was registered at the cybercrime police station in Lucknow, PTI reported. Hackers replaced the profile picture with a cartoon and posted hundreds of tweets before the handle, @CMOfficeUP, was recovered.

Booster dose campaign begins today for all adults
India will offer booster doses of Covid-19 vaccine to all adults from Sunday, although free third doses will be limited to frontline workers and those older than 60 who get them at government centres.

The booster programme started in January, limited to frontline workers and the elderly, administering a total of 24 million doses. When the programme starts Sunday, those outside these two priority categories will have to pay for the shots at privately run facilities, with no mixing and matching of vaccines allowed.

No plan to privatise Railways: Vaishnaw
Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Saturday the government doesn’t plan to privatise the national transporter, but urged it to accept the latest technology to serve passengers. "The opposition parties are repeatedly alleging a move to privatise the railways. I wish to clearly state that the railways is a big complex organisation...there's no policy to privatise the railways. No such plans, whatsoever," he said.
