The session’s first two weeks saw very little business. Data compiled by PRS Legislative show Lok Sabha's productivity has been only 14 per cent as it passed five bills in less than an hour. The Rajya Sabha did better, clocking 22 per cent in productivity.

The monsoon session has wasted 89 hours out of the 107 scheduled for business, said a PTI report Saturday quoting unnamed government sources. Rajya Sabha functioned for nearly 21 per cent of its scheduled time; Lok Sabha managed 13 per cent. The session started July 19 and concludes August 13.
