Lok Pal: Sibal and Khurshid meet Jaitley

Three senior ministers — Kapil Sibal, Salman Khurshid and V Narayanasamy — met leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley, on Thursday to discuss the smooth passage of Lok Pal Bill. Even though the United Progressive Alliance is trying to build a consensus on the Lok Pal issue, the Bharatiya Janata Party is adamant on three issues, Lokayukta should not be made part of the Bill, the CBI should be out of the clutches of the government and selection and removal procedure of the Lok Pal must not be government controlled.
