The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday, said that it is for the Lieutenant-Governor (LG) Najeeb Jung to decide on the fate of the Delhi State Assembly.
The court was hearing today on a petition filed by Aam Admi Party (AAP) challenging the non-dissolution of the Delhi Legislative Assembly and not holding of fresh elections.

The AAP had then filed a petition in the Supreme Court .
Following the apex court's notice both the Congress and BJP had filed their affidavits on wednesday oposing the dissolution of Delhi Assembly which is now in suspended animation following the imposition of President's rule in the State.
