Merlin Entertainments, a leading visitor attraction operator, today said it will be opening a branch of the world-famous wax museum Madame Tussauds here in mid-2017.

Madame Tussauds is famous for lifelike wax figures of celebrities.

"We are delighted to be announcing that our 22nd Madame Tussauds attraction will be opening in Delhi. The museum will be launched mid-next year in the Regal Cinema at Connaught Place and will be spread over two floors.

UK-based Merlin Enterprises runs 116 attractions in 24 countries and the company will be foraying in the Indian market with the launch of Madame Tussauds Delhi.
