Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan today discussed the issue of Campa Cola compound residents, who are facing demolition of their unauthorised flats, with the Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan.
The Governor had received a petition from the Campa Cola Compound Residents Association, Worli, seeking his intervention, a Raj Bhavan spokesperson said.
The Governor also forwarded the petition to the Chief Minister, he said.
About 100 families in the complex would be affected if the unauthorised floors are pulled down. The Supreme Court has turned down their plea against the action.
