Matthew Hayden promotes Queensland tourism

Currently Brett Lee, Jonty Rhodes, Sanath Jayasurya are tourism ambassadors for their respective countries

Former test player Matthew Hayden has joined the ranks of fellow cricket stars Brett Lee, Jonty Rhodes and Sanath Jayasurya to promote tourism. On Thursday, they flagged off the Tourism Queensland and Singapore Airline's "Go Beyond'' campaign which makes available new destinations at special fares.

"The campaign that will be launched in a weeks time will promote the opportunity for Indian visitors to "go beyond'' the city gateways of Australia and discover the unique attributes that Queensland has to offer,'' Hayden said at the event launching the campaign in Mumbai today. Hayden belongs to  Queensland state of Australia.

Lee and Jayasuriya are ambassadors of Australian and Sri Lankan tourism boards respectively. Rhodes who is fielding coach of IPL team Mumbai Indians works as brand ambassador for South Africa tourism and penned a travel diary of his tours last year.
